Theme of the Week: Dinosaurs

There are so many dinosaurs games and ideas out there that it isn't hard to find some.

We did just a few fun dinosaur things this week. If I hadn't gone camping the second half of the week we could have done more.

-Dinosaur pancakes using cookie cutters (also works for toast, sandwiches, etc)

We ate on dinosaur placemats (I got at Walmart for a $1) all week long.

The dinosaur picture I drew for my kids to color.

I found these little wind up dinosaur toys that were pretty cute and fun for the kids.

Using the cookie cutters again (I know, not super creative this week), we made dinosaur sugar cookies.

We read this book by Priddy Books at least a million times. Even I have a hard time saying all the correct dinosaur names, but the kids love them.

Here is an idea I wanted to try:

-It is always a good excuse for busting out all the dinosaur figurines and toys too.

This year we didn't make it to the Dinosaur museum, but in other years during Dinosaur Theme of the Week we did. Always a hit.
