Bubbles, Bubbles Everywhere!!

Oh how my kids LOVE to blow bubbles with my husband and I. It provides HOURS of entertainment in our home. I decided to get a little creative and research out some fun bubble ideas & my favorite recipe to share. This is what I found. Enjoy!

Bubble Recipes:
For general blowing and popping fun!!

Step 1
: Into your Mixing bucket add the entire gallon of Distilled Water.
Step 2
: Stirring SLOWLY so as not to make lather, add in 12 oz. of Classic Dawn
Step 3
: Stir in 3 Tablespoons (1 oz) of Glycerin.

(Mix up the recipes the day before for best results. They worked better for us the 2nd day.)

Extra fun Bubble Recipe:

Color Bubbles---These are very cool. We had a lot of fun with these. Be prepared to have paint splats on your driveway or even hair, face & body (very fun) when the bubbles POP!!! So make sure to use washable paints. We used our tempera paints and they worked great.

1 cup liquid tempera paints
2 T dish detergent
1 T liquid starch

***Experiment with bubbles. Create bubble wands out of found objects (straws, pipe cleaners, strawberry baskets and coat hangers) and have your own bubble contest***

I have never had a bubble recipe that worked well, so I am excited to try this one. And thanks for the additional tip of letting it sit a day!
