Edible Snowflakes

Today we made SNOWFLAKES out of flour tortillas for a morning snack.  They were super easy & very yummy.  The kids loved them.

All you need is a cookie sheet, spray it with non stick spray, 2tbs melted butter, cinnamon & sugar, powder sugar & flour tortillas (taco size)

First, fold your tortilla carefully in 1/2 & then in 1/2 again.  Do Not crease the folds as it will tear it apart your snowflake.  Take your kitchen scissors and cut triangles or whatever shapes your wish all the way around your triangle.  Make sure NOT to cut off the point of your triangle .  (be sure to watch those little fingers)

Then open it up and admire your beautiful snowflake.

Then lay it flat on your greased cookie sheet.  Take your melted butter & "paint" it on your snowflake

Next, sprinkle all the cinnamon & sugar you want on top.  We also sprinkled it with powdered sugar to give it a snowy snowflake look.

Finally, place your cookie sheet in an oven that has been preheated to 350.  Cook for 10min.  Remove from oven, place on a plate, let cool for a couple minutes & enjoy.  Very fun, fast, festive & YUMMY!
