Thanksgiving Ideas

I'm working all day on Thanksgiving this year, so I haven't been very excited about the holiday. I know I should be at least doing a little something with my boys to prep them and get them excited, but it just hasn't happened. So, Let me just share a few ideas with you that I have seen come up on other blogs.
I love this one! A little felt Turkey matching set. I first saw the one above by Chasing Cheerios (tons of great ideas on their site!).
And it looks like it was inspired by another amazing site that I love, My Montesori Journey. On this one the feathers button on, helping strengthen fine motor skills. If was better prepared I would have fore sure made this for my kids to play with this year. I guess I have a year to prepare for next Thanksgiving!

If you are wanting a turkey snack idea, check this edible turkey from Amanda of Impress Your Kids (I need to go check her site out) who guest posted at Make and Takes (once again, another wonderful, creative site!)

Another great idea for a Thanksgiving activity, also found at Make and Takes. Turkey bowling!

There's a whole lot of ideas over at No Time for Flashcards that have been done over the years. My favorite is the Indian corn. What a great way to get a second use out of something that would otherwise go into the garbage.

I'm sure there are a ton of other great ideas out there. And not to neglect the great ideas Nicole has posted here, here is her Tree of Gratitude and Thankful Banner.
